The association
Registered in November 1964
The Pakistan Sugar Mills Association was established as the representative organisation of all sugar mills in Pakistan. Its memorandum was signed in 1964 by four mills in East Pakistan and four in West Pakistan — Premier, Kohinoor, Habib and Crescent.
It continues to be the representative body of the sugar mills all over Pakistan, playing a pivotal role in promoting development and attaining efficiency in the best interest of the sugar mills and sugar allied industries, within the parameters of the policy of the Government of Pakistan.
